kodak camera For Your Reading PleasureGetting the Most From Your Digital Camera Memory Card
Imagine taking your new digital camera on a vacation and then realizing that you can barely click 20-30 images at a go. So, what do you do to avoid such a situation? The answer to this question lies in the purchase of an extra memory card or two.
One of the important components of a digital camera is the memory card. Most digital cameras come with quite a low amount of memory and it is always better to include the cost of a memory card while purchasing a camera. There are several types of memory cards so you must check out the memory options available in the camera that you are planning to buy.
Also, remember that if the resolution of your camera is high, then you will also need a high capacity memory card. There is no predetermined number of images that you can store on a particular memory card. It depends on the kind of images, the file type of the images and the compression rate per photograph. Normally, a 128 or 256 megabyte card is adequate for the average photographer using a 3-5 mega pixel camera.
There are several types of memory cards available. Here is a list of the kinds of memory cards available in the market today:
Compact Flash Memory Card: Compact Flash is a relatively cheap memory card. It is available in most shops and is compatible with a large number of digital cameras. It is very popular and is commonly used by camera lovers. These cards come with an in-built controller which results in high transfer speeds. However, in order to use this facility, you normally need to be using a digital SLR.
Secure Digital & Multimedia Cards: Commonly known as the SD card, these cards are one of the smallest memory cards which are available today. These cards can be used in different types of equipment, i.e. digital cameras, phones, MP3 players and video cameras as well. However, the maximum memory capacity is only 512 MB. The difference between the SD card and the multimedia card is that, as the name suggests, the SD card comes with an additional write-protect switch for data security.
Memory Stick: The memory stick is an invention by Sony. As a result, these cards can mostly be used only on Sony devices. Hence, if you have a Sony digital camera, a Toshiba laptop; then it is most likely that you will not be able to use your memory stick on both equipments. It is a very durable and rugged memory option. So, unless and until you are a Sony fan, the memory stick has limited use for you.
Card Reader: Once you have purchased a memory card for yourself, you will also need a card reader in order to transfer your pictures onto your laptop or PC. The advantage of a card reader is that it can be directly attached to your computer through the USB port. Then you simply need to slot in the memory card into the reader, and you can transfer files easily. The card reader does not require any additional cables and neither does it use up the battery of your digital camera.
The bottom line with digital camera memory cards is that you need to always have more on hand than you need, prices are often very affordable, and you should choose your camera based on the version of memory card that it takes. Dont buy into a camera system if you feel the memory card will not accommodate your photo taking needs.

Canon 8x25 Image Stabilization Binoculars w/Case and Neck Strap
Whether you are sitting in the nosebleed seats of a stadium or an opera house, with Canon's 8 x 25 IS binoculars you'll get an outstanding close-up view of the action. The binoculars are designed to fit perfectly in your hands and have a rubber coating for nonslip grip and protection from damage. The focus dial is center-mounted and the image stabilizer controls are easily accessible from either hand. Canon's optical image stabilization technology eliminates shake and reduces curvature of field. The image stabilizer operates with a CR123A Lithium battery. The lenses are coated with Super Spectra multicoating that improves image quality by maximizing contrast and minimizing color smear.
Image Stabilization and More
With any high magnification binoculars, most users will experience frustrating image shake. Unless fixed to a tripod, image shake can render high magnification binoculars useless. Canon's IS technology is remarkably effective at eliminating this problem and is widely used by the television industry with Canon's professional broadcast quality video recording equipment. A special VAP (Vari-Angle Prism) corrective IS system sits between the objective lens group and the porro prism on each side of the binoculars. Within thousandths of a second of the binoculars being moved from their optical axis by vibrations, a detection system activates the IS mechanism. The VAP shape alters to refract or 'bend' the light path by precisely the right amount, thus fully compensating for the vibration. It is this essentially immediate response that effectively suppresses image shake.
Super Spectra Coating
A number of optical factors affect the brightness of an image, including the amount of incidental light that is reflected by the lens. An uncoated lens will refelect away as much as 8% of the incidentail light, significantly dimming the image. Canon's Super Spectra Coating prevents that reflection.
What do the numbers mean?
15x50? 8x25? The two numbers used to describe any pair of binoculars are their magnification 8x, 12x, 15x and so on and the diameter of their objective lenses 25mm, 36mm, 50mm, and so on. The larger the first number is, the larger the object will appear to be in the objective lens. For instance, if you use a 10x lens and look at an object that is 100 yards away, it appears to be the same size as an object located just 10 yards away. The second number, the size of the objective lens, is important because the larger the objective lens, the more light it can admit for brighter, more detailed images, and the better suited they will be for lowlight situations.

Customer Review: Great Binocular for the price, Questionable reliabilty
It is funny to see one reviewer compare it to the 8X32 Leica. because I am about to do the same thing. I just happen to own a Leica 8X32 also. Actually I agree 100% with the comparison from other reviewer. The IS function works so well that the Canon 8X25 IS and Leica 8X32 are comparable on hand held application, except the Canon is slightly dimmer than the Leica. There is no doubt that Leica will beat the Canon on a tripod, due to the better optic of the Leica.. For 5X the price it should. Also for 5X the price it also buy you the water proof and rubber armor. The Leica is more than twice as heavy as the Canon. You might call that Canon has the upper hand on Leica.
As for reliability, that is a different story. My Leica 8X32 has served me more than 15 years and still good as new. The IS function of the Canon 8X25 ISfailed after 15 months. Fortunately for the reason we can guest, this is the only product that Canon carries a 3 year warranty ( even the DSLRs from Canon carries only 1 year warranty). However it take at least 4 phone calls from me and from Canon USA to convince the repair department to fix it under warranty instead of charging me $450 to fix a $175 binocular.
A friendly advice: make sure that it comes with a 3 year warranty before you buy it. Or you can pay extra to buy the extended warranty.
Customer Review: Neat little gadget
I have taken this binocular on several vacations. It is a neat binocular. The image stabilization worked great. It is not a gyro stablized binocular, so don't expect it to be a still image. I was on a police helicopter one time and they had the gyro stablized binos that were amazing. While hovering 1000 feet away, you can see everything clearly while the helicopter is in motion. Don't expect that with this bino. You are not paying thousands of dollars for it either. For the amount of money, this bino was a good deal. First the size is perfect. It is not small, but it is not big either. It was comfortable to have hanging around your neck. It wasn't too heavy. The images were clear and when you press the button, the image stablization kicks in. When you release the button, the IS stays on for a few more seconds, so you don't have to press the button constantly. The only thing I wish is that they would add an extra set of lense covers. You can use them to cover the view holes as well as the front lenses. The battery lasted a long time as matter of fact, I'm still on my first set and I've had it for several months now and have taken it on numerous vacations.

Your Guide To Buying A Digital Camera That Matches Your Photography Skill
For many folks buying a digital camera can be a confusing and bewildering purchase since there are so many models to choose from and so many different kinds of digital cameras too. Unless you are a photography hobbyist you probably won't be familiar with all of the acronyms and language used to describe the features of each camera either. So here is a general guide to help you know how to buy a digital camera that matches your own photographic skill level.
First of all, there is no one size fits all solution in digital cameras. It would be much easier to choose if that were the case, but it would also severely limit what each person could do with their own photography. And this means that is you aren't a serious hobbyist, you probably don't need to spend the extra money on digital cameras that have all the advanced features simply because you will probably never use them. And on the other hand, if you are a skilled amateur photographer, buying a simple point and shoot type of camera will not be a great decision either as it will not let you really be creative enough to satisfy your needs. So here are a few simple guidelines to follow.
If you don't consider yourself a photographer, and you just simply want to take good pictures of family and friends, and maybe some special occasions, you can most likely do very well with a 4 - 6 megapixel point and shoot fully automatic digital camera. This will be the most inexpensive option and so will save you plenty of money initially by not purchasing features that you really don't need. And the resolution of a 4 - 6 megapixel camera will let you make great prints on up to 8 X 10 or so.
If however, you know a little bit about photography and like to take some control yourself over the camera functions at times to create special photo effects in the composition of the photo, a more advanced digital camera that has fully manual features for exposure control, and allows you to save the image files in TIFF, GIF or RAW formats that do not lose image quality when compressed would be a good choice. Unless you do a lot of enlargements above 8 X 10 you probably can still get by with a 4 - 6 megapixel camera here too.
However, if you consider yourself a photographer of sorts and like to be creative with your photos, you probably should consider buying a digital single lens reflex camera(SLR) that uses interchangeable lenses, has full manual control capability, and advanced features that most serious photographers really appreciate. And if you like to do lots of manual cropping of photos and magnification of smaller parts of your photo images before you print, an 8 - 10 megapixel camera can be a good bet.
Of course, these guidelines and tips are just general suggestions but hopefully they can help point you in the right direction so that you can more easily select and buy the digital camera that will most closely match your photographic skills.

Customer Review: No shelf life -- high discharge rate
These batteries work great if you plan on using them the day you charge them. But if you charge them and don't use them right away you'll find that you have no charge left.
I would charge these and put them in my camera and after a week (of no use) they would be completely dead.
Since I don't have many devices that require this sort of usage (use it all up in one day), they are pretty worthless to me.

Home Security Signs Alone Cannot Stop Break-Ins Many burglar alarm companies receive constant requests from people wanting to buy their home security signs as a deterrent without actually installing an alarm system. They place the decals on windows of their home and car, as well as larger signs in the yard, hoping that would-be intruders will not be willing to take the chance that might have an alarm system. However, burglars that are more aggressive are not going to let a few home security

Another Great wireless cameras ArticleYour Guide To Buying A Digital Camera That Matches Your Photography Skill

Its nickel metal hydride chemistry is free from memory effect, maximizing performance and reliability. It has a high-capacity 2700-mAh rating and runs with 1.25 volts.
Customer Review: 2700 mAH rechargeable - or is it ?
A previous reviewer checked the capacity (1700 mAH is not Gd !). What a battery label says is Not necessarily what it delivers. This is why rechargeables are constantly being compared, reviewed and ranked. Now here are 2 reliable 2700 mAh HIGH capacity batts:

Today's slr digital cameras ArticleHidden Camera Stories Can Be Dangerous
Gerard Braud, media training consultant, tells Eve B. Rose how proper preparation can help a company speak honestly to the public and limit the potential damage of a hidden camera story driven by media bias.?
When it first appeared on the horizon, the story was a category 5 hurricane with the potential to cause serious damage.? By the time, it made landfall, it was more like a weak tropical storm. All because this U.S. retail chain asked the tough questions.
After a television newsmagazine called the company, asking if they could conduct an interview with senior management, the public relations director called Gerard Braud. Braud developed seven pages of questions for the PR director to ask TV show?s producer. ?I wanted to develop a roadmap of where they were taking the story,? he says.
Although surprised at the number of questions, the producer answered them. ?We asked point blank if they had hidden camera video,? says Braud, ?and the producer confirmed that it would be used. When he refused to let us view it, we asked him about what we would see and in what states the footage had been shot.? Using that information, Braud identified the issues on which he thought the story would focus. Then, with his own hidden camera, he visited retail outlets in the states where the network had filmed. His goal:? to duplicate what the network found.?
Upon his return, he screened the video for the training department to determine if proper customer service procedures were followed in the stores. Time and time again, he was told that the salespeople were conducting themselves exactly the way they were trained. In fact, the retail chain enjoyed a 97 percent satisfaction rate for the customer service. Based on these findings, Braud developed another set of questions which the PR director presented to the producer. ?We were successful in taking several issues off the table because of the research we?d done,? says Braud.?
Preparation continued down to the last minute. The day before the interview, Braud conducted media training with the executive who would be interviewed. Then he and the PR director, along with corporate lawyers and a team of experts from the company, met with the producer for two hours and went over the issues one at a time. More topics came off the table as the producer was shown detailed descriptions in the company?s training manuals, descriptions that shot down suspicions that the company was not acting on the best behalf of consumers. Using what they had learned in their meeting, Braud spent the evening conducting even more focused media training with the corporate executive. By 11:00 p.m., he believed he had covered all the questions that would be asked ? in the order they were likely to be asked. And in fact, the actual interview was almost identical to the final role play he and the executive completed.?
The resulting story was weak. The network, which had sought to do a buyer-beware piece on the retail chain, was left with a segment featuring a few isolated consumers who seemed to be asking for special treatment.

Customer Review: Great product!
I loved this product. For an amateur computer user and photographer I was able to follow the instructions and completed my very own custom book. The results were absolutely beautiful and I was very happy with the end product. I didn't use the cover for my book. It was for my husband and I thought the exterior was great just the way it was. I added gold letters from a scrapbook store for the title. I was very pleased and will probably make other books for families and friends. My husband loved it!
Customer Review: Great Product
This is a wonderful product for someone who is not into scrapbooking,to me that is a waste of time. This product allows you just add your photos and print, and it has a scrapbook appeal. The only problem that i have found was trying to reprint a book that i made in 8x10 into 5x7 mode and that was only the front cover and i couldnt spend alot of time on figuring out how. This really gives someone who puts their pics on the computer to have the ability to just click and print, but print a whole book. For me wouldnt have my sons first baby book done.
I hope this helps

WE BECOME WHAT WE DO
Because we always have control over the doing component of our behavior, if we markedly change that component, we cannot avoid changing the thinking, feeling, and physiological components as well.
William Glasser, _Take Effective Control of Your Life_
Dr. Roberto Assagioli called this technique of controlling what we do acting as if . . .
If we are sad or depressed, it is difficult, if not impossible, to become cheerful or serene through a direct act of will. It IS within our power to smooth our forehead, lift our head, smile, and speak words of harmony, optimism, confidence, and joy.
The use of this technology will actually change our emotional state. Little by little, and sometimes rapidly, the emotional state will follow, adapt itself to, and match the attitude and external behavior.
Roberto Assagioli, _The Act of Will_
The great acting coach Constantin Stanislavsky called aligned principles simply the method.
What almost unimaginable, and transcendent, freedom we have. Act as we want to be, and we will become it. We do not have to be slaves to our emotions, our psychological barbs, our internal weather. We just need to imagine how we want to be and then put it into ACTION.
WHISTLING IN THE DARK
Our emotions are chemicals. (For more about emotions and chemicals, read Candace Perts _Molecules of Emotion_.) Whistling in the dark, acting confident when we are scared, changes our emotions. Our chemical self changes and we have the chemicals of confidence. We are confident!
No longer just acting the part.
Lets all become actors today. Who will you be?
BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY
A queen in your court? Don that invisible crown and wave your imaginary scepter at life, commanding not cowering. Start now, Your Highness. Oh, so high.
A tycoon? Walk like a trillionaire. Get the chemicals of a magnate coursing through your blood and bones and you will become a magnet for riches -- the Midas method turning all to gold.
A jewel of joy? Put on a happy face, add a bounce to your step, and open your arms wide to life. To paraphrase some song I heard long ago, say loudly when you open your arms: Im big! Im glad! Im nationwide! Those chemicals of delight will soon stream through every cell.
Acting as if lets you design a new life. Shall we hold an Oscar night? You can turn your role into a day-to-day reality. You will win much more than an Oscar.
AND TODAY . . .
Decide who you are going to be today. Confident? Optimistic? Vibrant? Playful? Patient? Successful? Loving? What do you really want?
Sit for a while and imagine how you would act if you were that person. Make notes on posture, gestures, tone of voice, manner of dressing, way of walking, enunciation, expressions, sound and action of laughing, topics of conversation, youll think of more as you wholly and completely and fully imagine this new you. Take time with this exercise, no less than ten minutes.
Then stand up and begin to play the part. Go to the mirror and perfect your acting. This will be fun. You are doing what you loved to do as a child -- make believe. You have not lost that skill to make believe. You just need to let it out on stage today.
Your acting will change every molecule in your body. Not to mention your life.
Today you are the director, the actor, and the producer all rolled (and roled) into one transforming performance.
Ready? Roll those cameras. The first scene starts now. Action!

2. As an USB charger for USB-powered devices.
In battery-charger mode, the unit is a smart charger that accepts 1-4 AA/AAA cells in any combinations. The charger can be powered by either 100-240V universal AC input, or 12V DC input. This means you can also operate it from your vehicle's cigarette lighter adapter. Note that the car adapter is included in the CEF23DX4N, but not in the CEF23DX2.
The charging current is 550mA for each cell. So it takes about 4 hours to full charge up the included 2100mAh low-self-discharge cells (which are the Duracell-equivalent of Sanyo eneloop). I consider this a good compromise between shorter charging time and longer battery lifespan.
One really nice feature of this charger is that it has four individual battery status indicator lights. The status light for each cell turns RED when charging, GREEN when the cell is fully charged. It will even blink if you accidentally inserted an alkaline cell.
In USB charger mode, the unit generates a regulated 5-volt supply at its USB socket. You can then connect an USB-powered device (such as IPOD charger) to this unit. Input power for this USB charger can be from one of the following sources:
1. From 100-240V universal AC input,
2. From 12V DC input (car adapter), or
3. From four AA/AAA NiMH cells in the battery compartment.
The third way is the most interesting, because in case of emergency, you can even use 4 alkaline cells to power this USB charger, in order to charge up your cell phone's battery.
I must say that this charger is really well designed. It is a great bargain even if all you need is a simple battery charger. The USB charger mode is just an extra bonus.

Action!

Customer Review: Canon 10x30 Image Stabilization Binoculars w/Case, Neck Strap & Batteries
These are great binoculars. The optics are good and the image stabilization works well and by minimizing jiggle adds significantly to what you can see and identify. I bought my first pair several years ago for something over $500 and was well satisfied. Unfortunately they were dropped and were unuseable and unrepairable (for less than the cost of a new pair). So at a price of $300+ I am well satisfied.

Canon PowerShot SD1000 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver)
Chic, simple. Canon looked to the very first ELPH for inspiration when designing the PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH, and came up with a quintessential iteration of the icon: slim, clean-lined and fully flat. Inside, the SD1000 Digital ELPH looks only to the future: 7.1 Megapixels, a 3x optical zoom and advanced DIGIC III ensure top-quality images, while focus is fast and sharp and red-eye is automatically corrected. The large and more colorful LCD screen now has a tough, anti-reflective coating that makes it as durable as it is beautiful. Customer Review: Great Camera! Broke one and ordered another one!
I recently broke my Canon SD1000 series at the beach and knew that I wouldn't find a better camera at such an inexpensive price. The pictures are great and there are plenty of options to play around with including shooting pictures in different color tones. My only problem with this camera is that it breaks easily. Dropping it once can be fatal so it is important to keep it in a camera bag. There are numerous other people here at my school who have had the same problem with the camera breaking after one drop so if you are looking to take a camera out to the beach or out at night where you might get a little careless, think twice about buying a camera that is not waterproof or shock resistant.
Customer Review: Great Camera
This is a great camera. The picture quality is good. Would have been much better if it had more zoom but i cant complain w.r.t the price i paid for this.

Customer Review: Canon PS 850 IS is a great little camera
Canon PowerShot SD850 IS 8.0 MP Digital Elph Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
For a really tiny camera, this has remarkable capability. Have only had it for a month or so, but results are excellent so far. It has many functions with which I need to become familiar, but if you just put it on "auto" you can fire away without knowing all there is to know. The flash, although limited, is stronger than I expected. The screen is quite bright and the brightness can be bumped up if needed when in bright daylight.
However, one reason I got the 850 instead of one of the next models to come out is because it has a viewfinder. It is a pleasure to be relieved of all the many pounds of Nikon cameras, lenses, and film that I used to carry on trips. I find that this and my other pocketable digital camera (Kodak 7630)are quite capable to get the results I want. The greatest limitation is the lack of very wide angle. Telephoto is pretty good with equivalant to 140mm, and with 8mp you can crop severely to get equivalent of much longer telephoto. So far, I've been very pleased with the camera.

Customer Review: battery and charger
If I wanna buy SD850IS from Amazon, Does it include the battery and charger? and Could the Kingston 2GB Secure Digital Memory Card be used for SD850IS? thanks.

I could have used one of these when I was traveling, although at the time I owned only one lens and no flash, so I suppose my laptop bag was just as good. The Inverse AW beltpack, left, and the Nova AW shoulder bag at right are both weather-sealed and provided with all the little pockets, padded compartments, and accessibility options that a pro photographer could need. I’m not sure if they’re available to order yet (they were only announced today), but when they are, they’ll be at Lowepro’s

Bibble Pro 4.9 (Win/Mac/Linux)
I shoot only Raw format as a matter of choice. I prefer the flexibility that raw gives me. When I cover the types of events I like to photograph I will end up with 300 to 400 images.
So I need several things from my conversion software: ease of use, speed, dependability and flexibility. Bibble provides me with all of these things.
I have used Bibble Lite for a number of years and recently switched over to the Pro version. I upgraded to Pro for the additional color management and Noise Ninja capabilities.
Some will suggest that the interface needs to be updated and most likely will be in the next version. But I have used Bibble for several years so it doesn't bother me. I open my images, make basic changes to one image and once I am satisfied with it I apply those same changes to all the images. I then review every photo to prioritize them and tweak those that need it.
I enjoy the flexibility that the plug-ins give me to adjust an image over and above the normal settings. I can do most everything I need to do to an image from with Bibble and that includes opening an image in Photoshop Elements to deal with more serious problems.
If I ever figure out a way for Bibble to handle my back up processes I will have a complete workflow.

Customer Review: Perfect for me
After my Mother passed away, I wanted a way to create some sort of a tribute to her I could share with my family.
I had ordered a new epson printer and this product came free with it. I spent the requisite time reading and experimenting with it. My first attempts worked wonderfully, which left me with the extra book cover and sheets. Due to the sober concept of the book, I used no captions or titles, which the product allowed. This is not MS Publisher, and isn't intended to be that type of a product. It IS a product that allows you to import photo's, do some touching up and minor cropping, and leaves you with a very professionally hardbound book of memories.
I am ordering a couple more now to send to other family members.

Customer Review: Easy to Use - Great Looking - Somewhat Limiting
I used the StoryTeller Photo Book to create a keepsake of a family reunion and visit to see my new niece. The StoryTeller Photo Book was very easy to use and created a near-professional looking product. It included simple photo correction capability, wonderful layout templates, and everything you need to make a book in a few hours or more. The long cover and 8x10 pages printed perfectly on my HP Photosmart 2610 printer. I gave the book to my mother and she absolutely loved it. It is a much better than a photo album for displaying photos.
However, the software is somewhat limiting. Even though the book styles and artistic layouts are good, it would be great to have more variety. You cannot limit the number of photos in a given layout or resize the area of a picture on a page. If you need full artistic control, you may find this frustrating. As others have mentioned, you must buy the software along with the book materials for each new project. Limitations notwithstanding however, I intend to buy a few more and then wait for product improvements.

The Pinseeker 1500 features a powerful 7x magnification monocular for viewing your target. Optics are fully multi-coated, allowing maximum light transmission for optimum brightness, superb resolution, and contrast for a clear vivid image even in low-light conditions such as dusk or dawn. Laser Rangefinder Tech Talk
A laser rangefinder is a distance-measuring instrument that uses laser technology to calculate the distance to targeted objects. Accuracy is +/- 1 yard, and the distance is displayed instantaneously on a built-in, through-the-lens Liquid Crystal Display.
How a Laser Rangefinder Works
Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within +/- 1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.
Reflectivity of Target Types
Because rangefinders "bounce" a laser beam off the target in order to take a measurement, their range is partially determined by the reflectivity of the target. In other words, hard or "reflective" targets -- like a rock cliff or semi-truck -- can be measured at greater distances than soft surface targets, like a deer. Ranges for moderately reflective targets, like trees, fall somewhere in the middle. Most experienced hunters will use their rangefinder to frequently estimate ranges to near and distant landmarks before they actually encounter a game animal. By "pre-measuring" ranges to spots where a trophy is likely to appear, they can concentrate on making an accurate shot when the moment of truth arrives.
Customer Review: Bushnell Yardage finder A++++
This tool will help elevate your game as it will remove all doubt about your exact yardage. It's taken my short iron game to a new level. It works great on courses that you're not familiar with especially when it involves carries over bunkers, ravine, water etc. Well worth the money spent. I have 0 regrets.
Customer Review: As advertised
I did a lot of research before I purchased the Pinseeker 1500. I had already owned a Sky Caddie but was getting tired of paying a yearly fee so I thought this Bushnell device might be the answer. I am not disappointed. The only reason I did not give it five stars is it's a little shaky when you focus on the object your trying to get the distance on. Other than that it's great and will allow me to use it without any yearly fee.

Can a power strip be sexy?
The PowerSquid is one of those inventions that works well and looks cool to boot. The idea of solving the wall wart problem seems so simple, and yet why did it take this long for something like this to come out at an affordable price?
The design coup for this item though is outer covering for its inner workings.
